1. About Us

These terms and conditions apply to all driving lessons and services provided by Sabur's Driving School, operated by Jimmy, a DVSA-approved driving instructor based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. By booking a lesson or course, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Booking & Deposits

  • New clients are required to pay a £30 non-refundable deposit to secure their first lesson slot.
  • The £30 deposit will be deducted from the cost of your first lesson.
  • Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
  • Existing clients who have been added to our system are not required to pay a deposit.
  • We reserve the right to cancel an unconfirmed booking if the deposit is not received within 24 hours of the reservation being made.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • The £30 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if you cancel your booking.
  • If you need to reschedule a lesson, we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the lesson being forfeited and charged in full.
  • Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice will not be charged, and your lesson credit will be carried forward.
  • In the event that we need to cancel a lesson, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date at no additional cost.
  • No refunds will be given for lessons already taken.

4. Lesson Conduct

  • All pupils must hold a valid provisional driving licence for the appropriate vehicle category before their first lesson.
  • Pupils must inform the instructor of any medical conditions or eyesight issues that may affect their ability to drive safely.
  • The instructor reserves the right to end a lesson early if a pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, is behaving in a dangerous or abusive manner, or is otherwise unfit to drive. The full lesson fee will still be charged.
  • Lessons are conducted in a dual-controlled vehicle for safety. The instructor may intervene at any time to ensure the safety of all road users.

5. Punctuality

  • Please be ready at the agreed pick-up point at the start of your lesson time.
  • If a pupil is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the lesson may be cancelled and the full fee charged.
  • Time lost due to a pupil's late arrival cannot be made up and will be deducted from the lesson duration.

6. Payments

  • Lesson fees are due at the start of each lesson unless a block booking has been arranged in advance.
  • We accept payment via Monzo, bank transfer, or cash.
  • Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sabur's Driving School accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during a lesson, except where caused by the negligence of the instructor. Pupils drive at their own risk and are responsible for following the Highway Code at all times.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
